Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced LPN to provide direct patient care and clinical support in an Emergency Department setting.
Required Qualifications
Active New York State LPN License.
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience with Emergency Department experience required.
BLS/CPR certification.
Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
EMR experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must work every other weekend and some holidays.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Obtain and document vital signs and patient assessments.
Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
Administer injections and support physician-directed treatments.
Maintain clean and organized clinical areas.
Accurately document patient care in the EMR.
Observe patient responses and report changes to the RN
