Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Orangeburg, SC 29115

Schedule: Day Shift, 5x7.5 Hours (07:15 AM – 03:30 PM)

Pay Range: $2,600 – $2,800 Weekly

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, counseling, behavioral intervention, and support services for K-8th grade students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services for K-8th grade students.
• Plan and conduct reevaluations and psychological/educational assessments.
• Complete evaluations to determine eligibility and appropriate services under IEP and 504 plans.
• Provide behavioral interventions and counseling to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Conduct student risk assessments and provide appropriate recommendations and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other professionals regarding student needs and services.
• Support the development and implementation of appropriate educational interventions and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate assessment, intervention, and student documentation.

Required Skills

• Experience in school psychology, preferably in a K-8 educational setting.
• Experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations.
• Knowledge of IEP and 504 eligibility evaluations and services.
• Experience conducting student risk assessments.
• Behavioral intervention and counseling experience.
• Strong communication, documentation, assessment, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Experience

• School-based psychological evaluation and intervention experience preferred.

Education & Licensure

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology, or completion of an approved School Psychology preparation program.
• Active South Carolina School Psychologist (PK-12) educator certification required.
