Pay Rate:

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN license — Required
• Current New York State RN registration
• Ability to meet OMH credentialing and background-check requirements
• Fingerprint background check — Required
• SEL, SCR, SAM, Medicare, and Medicaid checks — Required
• MMR vaccination — Required
• Varicella vaccination — Required
• Influenza vaccination — Required

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and compassionate nursing care in a behavioral health setting
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Monitor patients for changes in physical and behavioral condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor patient safety and respond to behavioral or medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, providers, behavioral health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support therapeutic and patient-centered care practices
• Follow facility policies, OMH standards, infection prevention, and patient-safety requirements
• Participate in required OMH orientation and training
• Maintain compliance with licensing, vaccinations, background checks, and regulatory requirements
