Active New York RN License required at submission
Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience
Travel nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS certification
Epic EMR experience
NURSYS report required
License verification for active NY RN license and all other active RN licenses
Current resume documenting 2+ years of MS and travel experience

RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with the candidate
Must be willing to float as required
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients.
Care for patients with abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity, and post-surgical/bariatric conditions.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to healthcare providers.
Manage specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes.
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, recovery, and discharge.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
Float to other units according to hospital staffing needs.
