Occupational Therapist – IEP Services
Location: St. Louis, MO 63110
Job Type: Contract
Duration: ASAP – June 30, 2027
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 24 hours/week
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Required Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license or authorization to practice in Missouri
Graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
NBCOT certification or eligibility, as applicable
Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Knowledge of IEP requirements preferred
Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills
Ability to work with students with visual impairments, developmental disabilities, and other special needs
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services according to student IEPs
Evaluate functional, fine-motor, sensory, and developmental needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct and consultative therapy in classroom and school settings
Monitor student progress and maintain clinical documentation
Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other providers
Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting
Recommend adaptations, assistive devices, and strategies to improve student independence
