Pay Rate
Local: $42.00–$45.00/hr
Traveler: $46.00–$50.00/hr

Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license.
Minimum 2 years of recent Intermediate Care or Step-Down nursing experience.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Experience caring for intermediate-level medical patients.
Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory and cardiac conditions.
Ability to care for patients requiring respiratory support, including Room Air, BiPAP, and Optiflow.
Preferred Qualifications
Current ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care/Step-Down unit.
Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory and cardiac complications.
Care for patients recovering from cardiac thoracic, hepatobiliary, and head/neck surgeries.
Monitor patients requiring respiratory support, including Room Air, BiPAP, and Optiflow.
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions while monitoring patient responses.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate individualized patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow patient safety protocols.
