Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have Operating Room experience, previous travel nursing experience, Level I Trauma experience, and strong clinical skills in Neuro and Vascular procedures.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all surgical equipment and supplies are available.
Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures, including neuro and vascular surgeries.
Monitor patients' conditions and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical protocols.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective surgical care.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Previous Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
Previous travel nursing experience required.
Level I Trauma experience is mandatory.
Strong clinical skills in Neuro and Vascular procedures.
High ratings on the clinical skills checklist are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Workday, and ShiftWizard.
Must have access to electronic devices to use the required applications.
