Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support healthcare providers with routine patient care and clinical and administrative tasks in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have outpatient experience and meet all required education and certification requirements.
Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers with routine patient care in an outpatient setting.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Obtain and document patient vital signs.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Assist with clinical and administrative medical office tasks.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control standards.
Follow facility policies and clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications
Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program (mandatory).
High School Diploma or GED.
Active BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross (ARC) only.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting.
Must meet all mandatory education and certification requirements.
