Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide healthcare services to youth in a correctional facility setting. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical assessment skills, medication administration experience, and the ability to handle medical emergencies.
Responsibilities
Assess and respond to patients' medical and healthcare concerns.
Monitor vital signs and changes in health conditions.
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
Conduct health screenings for newly admitted youth.
Provide direct patient care and emergency medical assistance.
Collect blood, urine, and other laboratory specimens.
Administer vaccinations and assist with TB testing.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Coordinate treatment plans with healthcare professionals.
Ensure medical supplies and equipment are properly maintained.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
Active Arizona RN license.
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
Knowledge of medication administration and nursing procedures.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous correctional healthcare experience.
