Pay Rate
Local: $23–$24/hr
Traveler: $26–$28/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant with extensive phlebotomy and blood collection experience to perform specimen collection, ensure accurate sample handling, and support laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect blood specimens from patients.
Perform venipuncture safely and accurately.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and processing of collected blood samples.
Maintain accurate patient and specimen information using computer systems.
Provide excellent customer service and a positive patient experience.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Work independently while following assigned duties and procedures.
Follow laboratory protocols, infection control practices, and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy and blood collection experience.
Strong computer skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills.
Laboratory processing experience.
Venipuncture experience.
