JOB TITLE: Certified OR Technician / Surgical Technologist (CST)

JOB OVERVIEW

Location: Portland, OR 97213
Job type: Contract (no benefits)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Schedule: 3 x 12 hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Availability: Weekends and on-call rotations required
Patient ratio: 1:1 expected
Floating: Floating between units is not required

Candidates needed: Both local and traveling candidates

COMPENSATION

Local candidates: $1,700 – $1,800 per week, based on experience
Traveling candidates: $1,900 – $2,000 per week, based on experience

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Travel experience.
• Experience as a Certified Operating Room (OR) Technician.
• Ability to work in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
• Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotations.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with Epic charting.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: Certified OR Technician certification through NBSTSA.
