Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with recent Telemetry experience to assess patients, coordinate individualized nursing care, implement therapeutic interventions, and support evidence-based patient care practices.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individual patient needs.
Assess patient conditions and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized patient care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate nursing assessments based on patient problems, medical diagnoses, and functional health needs.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
Manage and coordinate care for assigned patients.
Document patient care in accordance with nursing standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and support improvements in care delivery.
Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice standards.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license or valid multistate compact license.
Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
NIHSS certification.
Telemetry certification or successful completion of a Telemetry Competency Exam.
Completion of a 4-hour Stroke CEU course.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
