Local: $34–$39/hr
Traveler: $37–$42/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in an orthopedic practice setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), supporting patient safety and quality care outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
Perform ongoing, systematic, non-interpretable data collection, focusing on patients' physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
Provide hygienic care and assist patients with ambulation and meals as directed by the RN.
Position patients and provide pre-operative, post-operative, and post-mortem care as indicated.
Maintain a safe patient environment by responding promptly to call lights.
Immediately communicate changes in a patient's condition to the Registered Nurse.
Identify the needs of the patient population and modify care accordingly, considering age, culture, language, educational literacy, and hearing or visual impairments.
Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and primary caregivers at an appropriate developmental and educational level.
Collaborate with medical center personnel and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Follow physicians to assigned patient care locations in Paramus, Montvale, and Franklin Lakes.
Maintain professional standards and ensure patient safety throughout clinical activities.
Required Qualifications
Current, valid New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
Ability to provide direct patient care in an orthopedic practice setting.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to travel between Paramus, Montvale, and Franklin Lakes office locations as required.
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience.
