Surgical Technologist (OR Tech)
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Contract (NO BENEFITS)
Shift: Days, either 5 x 8 hours (8:00 to 16:30) or 4 x 10 hours (8:00 to 18:00)

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Surgical Technologists (OR Techs) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment. Local and traveler candidates are both accepted, including first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, instruments, and equipment
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure a safe surgical environment
• Assist with robotic procedures in Urology and Gynecology
• Support procedures including hysterectomies, partial/radical nephrectomies, and cystoscopies
• Assist with ENT (EGDs), orthopedic soft tissue cases, and surgical oncology/plastic surgery procedures
• Support breast lumpectomies, soft tissue mass excisions, mastectomies, tissue expanders, implants, and TRAM/microsurgical flap procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment

Preferred

• Oncology experience
• Experience with Urology, Gynecology, ENT, Orthopedics, and Surgical Oncology cases
