Shift: Nights, 19:00 to 07:00

Job Summary
We are seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for night shifts in an acute care setting. Every other weekend is required, including holidays (based on the weekend schedule). Traveler candidates only.

Duties

• Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy to patients
• Institute and monitor oxygen therapy
• Assist physicians in instituting and maintaining continuous ventilation
• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Perform pulmonary function tests
• Perform radial arterial punctures
• Perform the majority of patient care functions needed in the acute care setting with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy
• New York State license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
• 2 years of post-A.A.S. clinical acute care experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

• Pediatric experience
