Position Overview
We are seeking a CT / Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will prioritize imaging quality, radiation safety, patient care, and accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
Appropriate radiologic technology certification or license, as required by the facility and state.
Experience performing X-ray procedures and CT imaging.
Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols, radiation protection, and patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for imaging examinations and explain procedures.
Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient identification procedures.
Review images for technical quality and repeat images when necessary.
Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout imaging procedures.
