Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have LTC experience, strong clinical skills, and the ability to support resident safety, comfort, and continuity of care during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Experience in a long-term care (LTC) or nursing home setting.
Ability to work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Availability to work 40 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays.
Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic charting is preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
Monitor residents' health conditions and report changes to appropriate healthcare professionals.
Document nursing assessments, medications, treatments, and resident care in PointClickCare (PCC).
Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare team members.
Maintain resident safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
Follow infection control procedures and applicable nursing regulations.
Participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care.
