JOB TITLE: IT Technician

JOB DETAILS

Location: Everett, WA 
Duration: 3 months, with possible extension - CONTRACT [NO BENEFITS]
Work Setting: Onsite

Pay Rate: $28 – $30 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: Seeking onsite IT support resources to supplement the Technology Services staff with equipment deployment, workstation installations, device imaging, equipment staging, and surplus processing.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows laptops and desktops using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM) and Workspace ONE.
• Imaging, configuring, and deploying Dell Wyse all-in-one thin clients using Wyse Management Suite.
• Hardware troubleshooting.
• Peripheral installations.
• High-volume workstation deployments.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deployment and Support

• Image, configure, and deploy Windows laptops and desktops using MECM and Workspace ONE.
• Image, configure, and deploy Dell Wyse all-in-one thin clients using Wyse Management Suite.
• Assist with hardware troubleshooting, peripheral installations, and high-volume workstation deployments.
• Stage equipment for deployment.

Surplus Processing

• Disconnect, move, inventory, and organize retired IT equipment, including desktops, monitors, servers, and peripherals.
• Assist with other related technical activities as project needs dictate.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving equipment.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 20 pounds.
• Heavier equipment is moved using appropriate equipment or team assistance.
• Repetitive installations and equipment handling throughout the day.
• Work is performed onsite at facilities within approximately a half-mile radius, primarily between two adjacent bases.
• Candidates must provide their own transportation to and from the worksite.
• No travel outside the immediate work area is anticipated.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the assignment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
