JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant

JOB OVERVIEW

• Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
• Work arrangement: Hybrid, 6 days in a month on-site
• Duration: 6 months / CONTRACT [NO BENEFITS]

Pay Rate: $50 to $52 per hour

ROLE SUMMARY

• The role provides accounting support during two planned employee leaves of absence.
• The individual will initially support the Project Accounting function and will transition to Fixed Asset Accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in monthly close activities
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform variance analyses
• Assist with other accounting projects and ad hoc requests as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting internal controls
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other large ERP systems

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• SAP experience is strongly preferred
