Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical support and direct patient care in an outpatient specialty clinic. The ideal candidate will have Medical Assistant experience, Epic (Excellian) EMR proficiency, and familiarity with spine-related conditions and pain diagnoses.
Required Qualifications
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
Medical Assistant certificate.
Epic (Excellian) electronic health record experience required.
Experience or familiarity with spine and pain diagnoses, including low back pain and chronic pain syndrome.
Ability to float to designated outpatient clinic locations as required.
Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
First-time candidates accepted.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical support and direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
Assist healthcare providers with patient evaluations and clinic procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
Support patients with spine-related conditions and pain diagnoses, including low back pain and chronic pain syndrome.
Document patient information accurately in the Epic (Excellian) electronic health record system.
Coordinate with providers and other healthcare team members to support efficient clinic operations.
Follow infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
Float to designated outpatient locations as required, including Buffalo Specialty Center on the second and fourth Mondays of each month and Centennial Lakes on Thursdays.
