Position Overview
We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging in an acute-care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will follow imaging protocols, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
CT certification required.
Active Rhode Island license required.
Availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight shifts.
Ability to perform CT imaging procedures in an acute-care hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications and experience to be confirmed with the facility.
Responsibilities
Perform CT examinations according to provider orders and established imaging protocols.
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging.
Operate CT equipment and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
Follow radiation safety procedures and patient identification protocols.
Monitor patient comfort and safety during examinations.
Maintain accurate imaging documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Follow infection-control, safety, and departmental compliance standards.
