Traveler: $75 – $80/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative nursing care, maintain surgical safety standards, and collaborate with the surgical team to support safe patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
Active Alaska RN license required for auto offer. Pending license may be accepted, but the license must be in hand for auto offer.
Current BLS certification.
EPIC charting experience.
Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS certification.
CNOR certification.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
Prepare the operating room and verify the availability of required equipment and supplies.
Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and safety checks before procedures.
Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection prevention protocols.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other members of the surgical team.
Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes during procedures.
Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC.
Follow facility policies, surgical safety protocols, and established standards of care.
Float to similar units within the nurse's scope of practice when required.
Special Requirements
Weekend availability required.
On-call coverage is limited to call-offs.
Block scheduling is not accommodated.
Travelers may be called off for one 12-hour shift per two-week period.
Requested time off (RTO) is reviewed individually upon offer; all requests must be included at submission.
Shift start times may vary.
