  • Implement front-end components and integrate them with back-end services, business logic, and databases.

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines to support data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.

  • Develop application modules using object-oriented programming principles and relevant 3GL languages.

  • Write complex SQL queries, optimize database operations, and troubleshoot data-related issues.

  • Design and maintain relational database structures and support applications that interact with hierarchical databases.

  • Apply rapid application development (RAD) approaches to accelerate prototyping, iterative delivery, and application enhancements.

  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across application, API, integration, and database layers.

  • Implement application validation, error handling, logging, security controls, and data integrity measures.

  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Prepare technical specifications, integration documentation, and implementation guidelines.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards and development best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–9 years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong experience in application development, programming, and software integration.

  • Hands-on experience designing and integrating APIs and web services.

  • Proficiency in front-end development and front-end/back-end integration.

  • Experience developing and maintaining ETL processes or data pipelines.

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and one or more 3GL languages, such as Java, C#, C++, or Python.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases; exposure to hierarchical databases is desirable.

  • Experience developing and supporting internet-ready, data-driven applications.

  • Knowledge of RAD methodologies, iterative development, and agile practices.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and optimize code and database performance.

  • Familiarity with source control, automated testing, deployment practices, and technical documentation.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with API security, authentication, and integration patterns.

  • Exposure to cloud-based application development, CI/CD, and application monitoring.

  • Experience with ETL orchestration tools, data validation frameworks, or enterprise integration platforms.
