Local: $80–$83/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong scrub and circulating experience, including trauma, neurosurgery, and complex orthopedic procedures.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience.
Minimum 2 years of scrub and circulating experience.
Experience with trauma cases.
Experience with neurosurgery cases.
Experience with complex orthopedic cases.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion experience.
Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
New York State RN License.
AHA BLS certification.
AHA ACLS certification.
English proficiency: Read, Write, and Speak.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong trauma OR experience.
Strong neurosurgery OR experience.
Strong complex orthopedic OR experience.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients in the Operating Room.
Perform both scrub and circulating responsibilities during surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain the operating room and sterile field.
Assist with trauma, neurosurgery, and complex orthopedic procedures.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required.
Assist with conscious sedation procedures.
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team during procedures.
Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the appropriate clinical team.
Maintain accurate patient and surgical documentation.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and sterile-technique standards.
