Position: LVN/LPN – Day Shift

Location: St. Petersburg, FL 33716

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Hours: 9 hours per day / 45 hours per week

Pay: $1,800–$1,900 Weekly

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical and administrative support in a primary care setting. The LVN/LPN will work across both the front and back office, assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, scheduling, documentation, and general medical office responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and committed to health education, preventive care, and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information.
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and process specimens as required.
• Administer vaccines and medications within the scope of licensure and organizational protocols.
• Perform EKG testing and other basic clinical procedures as needed.
• Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing according to established protocols.
• Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Assist with front-office and back-office duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Follow infection-control, HIPAA, safety, and clinical compliance standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members.
• Provide health education and reinforce preventive-care recommendations.
• Support population health, health-risk reduction, and positive behavior-change initiatives.
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties within the scope of the LVN/LPN role.

Qualifications

• Current and active LVN/LPN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare or clinical experience preferred.
• Recent phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) required.
• Front- and back-office medical experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Experience taking and documenting vital signs.
• Experience with patient rooming and clinical intake.
• Recent experience scheduling patient appointments.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ability to work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff.
