Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized 1:1 nursing care and support to a middle school student, initially in the home and transitioning to a school setting.
Required Qualifications
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience or demonstrated competency in seizure monitoring and response.
Ability to administer prescribed seizure rescue medication.
Ability to provide individualized one-on-one nursing care and personal care assistance.
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with school and healthcare teams.
Ability to work Monday–Friday in home and school environments.
Female RN required for personal hygiene care needs.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized nursing care to the assigned student.
Provide in-home nursing support initially, with care hours increasing as needed.
Monitor and respond appropriately to seizure activity and administer rescue medication when prescribed.
Support personal hygiene, healthcare needs, and ongoing health monitoring.
Accompany and support the student at school once placement is secured.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow the individualized healthcare plan.
Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, healthcare providers, and nursing personnel.
When not assigned to the student, provide nursing support at area schools, including 1:1 coverage and health office duties.
