Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week assignment at a long-term care and memory care facility. The position primarily involves day shifts, with some evening/night on-call responsibilities.

The facility offers flexible scheduling and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual scheduling requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care and memory care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Assist with care planning and implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies.
• Participate in evening/night on-call coverage as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license eligible to practice in Nebraska.
• Previous long-term care, nursing home, or memory care experience preferred.
• Medication administration experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a long-term care environment.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
