Pay Rate
Local: $35 - $40/hr
Traveler: $40 - $43/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced LPN to provide direct nursing care, medication administration, clinical treatments, and resident monitoring in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
Active LPN License.
Current BLS certification.
Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
Strong medication administration and documentation skills.
Ability to supervise CNAs and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance.
Administer oral, topical, injectable, and inhaled medications as prescribed.
Monitor vital signs, weights, oxygen therapy, and changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition.
Perform wound care, dressing changes, skin assessments, and preventive skin care.
Collect laboratory specimens and report abnormal findings to the RN or provider.
Insert and monitor urinary catheters, feeding tubes, and IV therapy as permitted by state regulations.
Supervise and guide CNAs and ensure care plans are followed.
Accurately document nursing care, assessments, and resident status changes in the EMR.
Participate in shift handoff, care planning, and interdisciplinary care conferences.
Respond to emergencies, provide CPR/first aid, and promptly notify the supervising RN of changes in condition.
