Location: New York City — Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn & Queens

Shift: Day | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours/week

Pay Rate: $28–$30/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Healthcare provider credentialing and re-credentialing experience
• Experience with credential audits and provider background checks
• Experience maintaining accurate credentialing records and data integrity
• Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements
• Strong understanding of credentialing-related statutes, laws, policies, and procedures
• Audit experience — Required
• English proficiency — read, write, and speak
• Ability to work on-site at an assigned New York City Health and Hospitals facility
• MDStaff credentialing software experience is relevant to the role

Responsibilities:

• Manage initial provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes
• Coordinate credential audits, background checks, and verification activities
• Support clinical privileging for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers
• Utilize MDStaff credentialing software to monitor credentialing activities
• Maintain accurate provider records and documentation
• Ensure credentialing activities comply with accreditation and regulatory requirements
• Interpret and apply credentialing policies, procedures, statutes, and laws
• Maintain organized documentation and support ongoing credentialing compliance
