LVN/LPN – Behavioral Health

Pay Rate:
Traveler: $30–$35/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience
• BLS certification — Required
• EPIC experience — Required
• Skilled Nursing Facility/Nursing Home experience
• Behavioral health, dementia, or neurobehavioral experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a secured/locked unit
• Strong behavioral management and de-escalation skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and behavioral disturbances
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs, blood glucose, intake/output, and changes in condition
• Manage challenging behaviors using de-escalation and behavior-management techniques
• Maintain a safe, structured, and secured environment
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and behavioral health protocols
