Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Shift: Day/Night | 3×12 hours
Schedule: 36 hours/week

Pay Rate:
Local: $50–$55/hr
Traveler: $58–$62/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license or Multistate Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Major acute-care hospital experience
• BLS (AHA) — Required
• ACLS (AHA) — Required
• NIHSS — Required
• Telemetry certification — Required
• 4-hour Stroke CEU — Required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) — Required
• BSN preferred
• Strong telemetry monitoring and acute-care nursing skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and therapeutic nursing interventions
• Document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient-centered and evidence-based nursing care
