Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatrics and/or critical care to provide respiratory care across NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and other units.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience required.
Trauma experience required.
Alaska State license; pending license accepted, but license must be in hand for an Auto Offer.
BLS and CRT certifications required.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT strongly preferred.
Experience with advanced ventilators, including Puritan Bennett, Draeger, and Servo-I preferred.
Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
Weekend availability required, including Christmas holiday coverage.
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care across NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and floor therapy.
Perform NIV, high-flow nasal cannula, nebulizer treatments, CPT, Nitric Oxide, and Flolan nebulization.
Operate advanced ventilation equipment, including Draeger, Servo-I, 3100A/3100B, and Jet ventilators.
Participate in trauma care within a Level II Trauma environment.
Float across units within scope based on staffing needs.
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic.
