Salary Range: $27.09 – $32.51 – $37.92/hr (commensurate with experience)

Required Qualifications
Active Florida State Licensure as a Medical Technologist required in at least 3 areas of the lab (licensure in all areas preferred)
Nationally recognized certification as a Medical Technologist required (ASCP preferred)
Associate degree in Medical Technology with formal training required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Minimum 3 years of Medical Technologist experience in a hospital laboratory preferred
Strong Blood Bank experience preferred
MUST be comfortable working independently / alone and covering multiple areas of the laboratory
Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities
Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across licensed technical disciplines under the direction of laboratory leadership
Execute laboratory procedures consistent with established written protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Apply theoretical concepts and independent clinical judgment to ensure prompt, accurate diagnostic results
Maintain active competencies and regulatory compliance across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
Perform non-technical support functions as needed, including specimen collection, accessioning/processing, and referral testing
Support laboratory goals related to diagnostic turnaround times, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and interdepartmental collaboration
