Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Local: $55–$60/hr

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 12 months of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience — Required
Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license — Required
BLS certification — Required
ACLS certification — Required
NIHSS certification — Required
Strong cardiac/telemetry monitoring experience
Experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Comfortable caring for patients who may require ventilator support
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
Monitor and interpret ECG/telemetry rhythms
Identify and report significant changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and other clinical indicators
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Care for patients with complex medical and telemetry needs
Provide care for patients who may require ventilator support
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and nursing standards
Float to designated units, including similar medical/surgical units and the ED, as required
Complete ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
Work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
