Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Leesburg, VA 20175
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 44 Weeks
Shift: Day | 8:50 AM–3:40 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5 Days/Week
Local Candidates: Accepted – Must live within 50 miles
Traveler Candidates: Not Accepted
Pay Rate: $38–$50/hr, based on experience
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Virginia SLP License or eligibility to obtain
CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered
Previous school, pediatric, or clinical SLP experience
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students for speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
Develop and implement speech-language therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Provide individual and group therapy services
Monitor and document student progress
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and school staff
Educate families and staff on communication strategies
Maintain accurate clinical and educational documentation
Follow school policies and applicable professional standards
